We donate 1% of our revenue annually to the "The Smile of the Child" Organization
Home Wellness belongs to the company Home Biology (joint VAT number Home Biology / Home Wellness) and annually donates 1% of the net profits of the business activity of the previous financial year to the "CHILD'S SMILE" Organization, with the aim of strengthening its specialized and holistic work alongside every vulnerable child and family.

The Child's Smile project
"The Smile of the Child" was founded in 1995 by 10-year-old Andreas Giannopoulos, who shortly before his death expressed in his diary his desire to create an association so that all children could have what he himself had so generously: love, affection, interest, respect.
The dream of 10-year-old Andreas became a reality and today the "The Smile of the Child" Organization, having been recognized internationally, with a vision: the Smile of every child, implements effective and immediate actions nationwide, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, to prevent and address specific phenomena that threaten children.
To date, "The Smile of the Child" has supported more than 1,800,000 children and their families. Children who are victims of all forms of Violence, Children who are victims of Disappearance, Children with Health Problems, Children who are or are threatened with being in a state of poverty, have found a solution.
The services are provided free of charge to all children in Greece, regardless of nationality and religion.
"The Smile of the Child" next to every child victim of Violence
- Since 1997, when the first Home for children victims of all forms of violence began operating, "The Smile of the Child" has raised hundreds of children, many of them from babies.
- Children of various ages, regardless of nationality and origin, are raised in the Homes, whose removal from their family environment by the competent Prosecution & Judicial Authorities was deemed necessary due to serious abuse and neglect.
- "The Child's House" is a Day Center for the Personalized Provision of Mental Health Services to Children and Adolescents, victims of abuse, neglect, domestic violence, and child victims involved in bullying incidents.
- It operates the Nationally recognized SOS Line 1056, which is available to every child and adult to provide support on issues that concern them.
- It operates the European Child Support Line 116111, which provides free counseling support to children and adults.
- It carries out organized interactive, experiential activities aimed at students, teachers, parents and guardians.
- It supports women who are victims of domestic violence and their children, providing services aimed at their holistic support.
- It provides on-site intervention to children who are at immediate risk, to child victims of all forms of violence, with the aim of protecting them and defending their rights, always in collaboration with the competent Prosecutor's Office and Police Authorities.
- Through his many years of activity in the Child Protection Sector and the experience and expertise he has acquired, he created the Child Advocacy Center, with the aim of Child-Friendly Justice.
- It implements the "Day Care Homes" Action with the aim of caring for children whose families face serious problems in their functioning.
"The Smile of the Child" next to every child who disappears
- It operates the National Missing Adults Hotline 1017, which provides free support to adults who have disappeared, their family and caregivers.
- It operates the European Missing Children Hotline 116000, which provides free support to children who have gone missing.
- Activates Amber Alert Hellas (the National Coordination Program for timely and valid notification of citizens in cases of disappearance/abduction of minors) with the approval of the Hellenic Police.
- He has formed, with the valuable participation of volunteers, the "Thanasis Makris" Missing Children Search and Rescue Team.
"The Smile of the Child" next to every child with a health problem
- It has a team of specialized scientists (Social Workers, Psychologists, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Art Education Specialists) who support every sick child, hospitalized child, child at the level of providing preventive medicine services, as well as the child's family.
- It has managed thousands of cases of children who do not have access to medical services and belong to socially vulnerable groups (long-term unemployed, Roma, Refugees & Immigrants, etc.).
- It provides Preventive Medicine nationwide to all children who, due to financial or other difficulties, do not have appropriate medical monitoring and care.
- It consistently carries out voluntary blood donation activities in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, public hospitals and local government.
- It has Mobile Medical Intensive Care Units for newborns and children with which it carries out transfers nationwide and in some cases outside Greece.
- It implements the Pediatric Home Hospitalization Program. The action is aimed at children suffering from serious health problems.
- It provides creative employment in Hospitals, from its first years of operation, and actively stands by every child who is in the Hospital for longer or shorter periods of time.
- It provides hospitality to families with children facing serious health problems.

- "The Smile of the Child" with a specialized team (scientific staff, Social Workers and Psychologists) supports children and families who are or are threatened with poverty, covering all their needs.
- It implements the "Day Care Homes" Action with the aim of caring for children whose families face serious problems in their functioning.
- Child and Family Support Centers provide everything a family in crisis needs to stand on its own feet with dignity.
How can each of us contribute?
The Smile of the Child never goes out on the street, nor door-to-door to raise funds, and relies exclusively on in-kind or financial sponsorships from businesses as well as donations from individuals.
